About Me
My name is Chris Mihas and I am the owner operator of CM Entertainment. I was born and raised in Waterloo Ontario and after playing the Drums for many years; I traded in the sticks for turntables and began DJ'ing at 18 years old. Music has always been a passion of mine and 2024 marks my 29th year in the DJ business - I'm fortunate to have made a career of playing other people's music. I'm a well established DJ that always delivers quality service at the highest professional standard. My attention to every detail, successful experience in a wide range of venues and my utmost professionalism will work for you to design the music for your event. Chris Georgopoulos
People often ask me, ‘what set’s you apart from other DJ companies”? One of the main things is, I personally DJ every event that I book. CM Entertainment isn’t a DJ Factory and I take pride in Dj’ing every single function, but I can’t DJ two functions at the same time. So, if I happen to be booked for an event, the only other DJ that will represent CM Entertainment is Chris Georgopoulos. His resume is extensive and Chris holds over 30 years experience as a DJ. Chris was one half of Euro Beat Productions (Euro-Beat was a popular DJ company in the 1980’s-1990’s) and along with his business partner, Jammin’ Johnny - they held legendary bashes and DJ’ed in many of the cities prominent nightclubs. Additionally, Chris and Johnny also DJ’ed weddings and various parties. Chris is not only a talented DJ but he was also my mentor and advisor when I first got into the business. Chris is an accomplished DJ/M.C, the care and professionalism he provides will illuminate at your function.
My Philosophy
In today's tech-made-easy world, you'll come across many people that call themselves DJ's. Owning an iPod or laptop doesn't classify you as a DJ. Experience is crucial when hiring a DJ for your event. The DJ doesn't just play music, the DJ conducts the flow and energy of the evening through the music he plays. The relationship between you and your DJ is important, and if you're not impressed with what you see in advance, you will not be satisfied with the service you'll get. I will work with you to ensure the music you want to hear on your Wedding Day actually gets played the way it should.

September 1995 - DJ'ed first gig (my brothers Stag & Doe)

November 1997 - Began my first club residency at Stages Nightclub in Kitchener

November 1998 - DJ'ed on the Carnival Destiny (Worlds Biggest Cruise Ship at the time)

July 1999 - Promoted to the newest ship on the fleet, the Carnival Triumph - and Dj'ed the ship's inaugural cruise.

December 31, 1999 - DJ'ed the millenium cruise on the Carnival Triumph

February 2000 - Started my club residency at Sammy's Garage and Stages Nightclub.

2002 - DJ'ed at the Wax Nightclub Grand Opening

March 2004 - Began my residency at Easy & the 5th in Toronto (now known as the 5th)
